A reputation has more value than great wealth. What does all that wealth mean if your name is recognized as scandalous?
Names are very important to God, which He demonstrates right in the very beginning when He names Adam. Then God gave Adam the same ability to name things when He directed Adam to name the animals. Regardless of what others have called you, God will call you according to your purpose. However, not only was Adam's name important, but the entire Bible introduces God by His names, which are a perfect representation of His character. God first introduced Himself as I AM, meaning I am who I say I am.
