Why does God tell us the end from the beginning, and then still do something unexpected? Instead of God taking you through the shortcut, God takes you the long route so you can walk by faith on a Word from the Lord instead of your own credentials. Mark 16:17 says, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;" Sometimes the long road is necessary for the process God is working in our life.
